ELEPHANT
There’s this elephant that lodges in my room
He’s sound enough but sometimes likes a chat
It’s not that I don’t like talking
But his topic of conversation is always the same
And trust me it ain’t all that.
Yesterday I came home from football training
He was waiting there on top of the bed
Beckoning me over with his trunk
He starting waffling some shit about me
Specifically the brain in my head
I said hey listen elephant I’ve told you before
I ain’t got a problem with you living here
But Jesus will you be silent sometime?
I appreciate the concern but my mind is fine
It’s just a bit of harmless fear
He laughed and blew air with his trunk
Harmless? Man you have a lot to learn.
